The Big NYC FU Show, Wed Sep 3rd at 7:30pm @ Earthmatters

Hello Everyone!

Alright, this is the real deal show for those who want to get their
first 5 minutes of shame...er...fame down for the Freehackers Union.

Come prepared to perform something you've been dying to show off, half
finished crap that promises to be awesome, and paper drawings of ideas
you've got in the works. Even disassembling something nobody has seen
the internals of is fair game. Just come ready to rock.

We'll be doing as many Newbie Shows as we possibly can to get people
going, having fun, and recording it all for the world to see and hear.

WHAT TO BRING

You should plan for everything to break down, so bring your stuff, and
be ready to show as if you are stuck in a cave after the world was
blown to bits by evil squid monsters.

But, I will attempt to provide:

1) An LCD Projector
2) A sheet for said projector
3) Paper boards and grease pens to write with
4) A mixer board for sound
5) A mic and amp (maybe other sound goodies)

You bring your crazy creation, software project, art projects, or
whatever you have.

However, please keep it sane so we don't freak out our hosts.

FOOD

Earthmatters has tons of stuff for sale if you're into vegetarian food,
and it's pretty good. If you want meat, then Katz's Deli is right
around the corner as well as many other places.[1]

AFTER

After the show we'll see about piling into one of the many Lower East
Side bars or a nice coffee shop depending on the mood.

HELP

If you don't have anything to show, then you can offer to help me out
as an Assistant Curator.

I will be accepting 1 or 2 assistants who can help me with carrying
gear, setting up, tearing down, and keeping order.
